implant not my first priority for a change

Postby imhungguy » Wed Jan 25, 2012 4:37 pm

Hey Guys: Not sure this is the correct forum to let you all know that I probably won't be checking out F.T. for awhile. Had a colonoscopy a few weeks ago and, after agonizing surgery, it has been determined that I have anal cancer. A PET scan has confirmed that it has not spread, and the cure rate is said to be almost 100%. BUT I begin a combination chemo/radiation treatment program on Feb. 6th, ending on March 26th. Will be kinda toiugh, I guess, but at least my mind will be off of my dick, for a change!

Wish me luck, men, and I certainly hope that all of you will find satisfactory solutions to all of your problems too. You have all been wonderfully supportive. This is the only site I am keeping open (I have unsubscribed to Skype, yahoo groups and all my other private retreats in the interest of privacy), so I will give a holler at the end of the ordeal - hopefully fully recovered and raring to go! Bill:

Go with our support and cheers. Thanks for sharing this diagnosis with us. The fact it is contained and can be treated is wecome news to your friends and collegues here. Don't stay away too long and keep us posted. The days ahead may not be comfortable but they lead to progress and return to wellness. We will be here if you want to chat or need some additional "got your back".

We will be here to support, cuss with you and to look forward to a spring where you and the earth return to energy, new vigor and in a better state.

God Speed!

Bill,
I am saddened to hear of this and will pray for you. I’ve never heard of such a short time for treatment; sounds intense, but I’ll assume that it’s a good thing. Please keep us updated with everything by posting here or stopping by in the chat room We will be looking for you.

You guys are awesome. I will keep in touch. Not sure I made clear that my treatment will last 6-7 weeks. Does not seem so short to me! Yikes! Warm wishes to all. Bill

Bill:

I will add my best wishes to the chorus. I'll also try to remember to include you in my prayers (seems like I forget half of what I want to pray about.) Godspeed, my friend!

Bill, you're a tough guy and healthy---so you will come out the other side of the tunnel worn out all right, but hopefully like a new man. All the best, glad this was discovered in early stages, hang in there man. bruce
