Hi guys... Hope you can help. I think I may have venous leak. My morning wood doesnt last as long as they used to and so are getting worse in duration. I experience morning wood 3 - 4 times a week. They last 1 - 3 minutes from the moment I wake up. My libido is up as long as long as I get morning wood. The moment my penis goes flaccid I'm no longer horny and I stay with low libido throughout the day. Most likely erection causes libido to rise.

Pills dont work. The last time I injected with trimix was 3 years ago and it worked. But i dont know if they will still work.

Just want to know from your experience and what I said if you belive I have VL. If so, how do i find out for sure. More importantly, what the best cure treatment for it? Can vascular surgery cure it?

.

Search the site for venous leak, there are quite a few posts. Very misunderstood part of EF,

I think we prostatectomy guys all have VL to some degree, but the trimix cancels it out. Why don't you get back on trimix if it worked for you previously?

I was diagnosed with a VL from a Penile Doppler Test. My symptom was the ability to get hard and gave morning wood if I was in my back, but if I rolled over or moved much at all my dick went soft. Unfortunately, the surgery to repair the leak has not been very successful so the most common fix is a Penile Implant. I have had mine for over two years and love that it has allowed me to recapture a sex live like I had in my prime.

Before you even consider an implant you definitely should see if injections still work since they did previously. If they don’t I would ask your doc if it’s possible you have a VL and see if he will order the test for you to confirm or figure out what else is causing your ED.

Hi greg.. appreciate the reply. Do you know if theres a way to get a single shot of trimix or small vial of it? Dont wanna spend money for a whole bottle if theres a cheaper way to get it for just a test.

Looking forward to your reply!

I doubt you can get a single shot anywhere other than at a urologist's office that does mens sexual health.

In my view, the best way to find out if you have a venous leak is to get a Doppler ultrasound measurement. To get a really valid one, it should be done by, or under the direction of, a urologist who is knowledgeable about sexual issues. In my experience, a good measurement requires a Bimix or Trimix injection to produce a reasonable erection. This, by itself, gives you some of the information you want. However, the Doppler measurement really is the gold standard in determining what is going on.
