I am 45 years old and I am completely impotent. I have struggled with partial ED my whole life, never being able to have sex the first few weeks in a relationship and maybe only 50% of the time after that with medication.

I have had all the tests that I am aware of. MRI. Three urologists. One endocrinologist. Two wholistic doctors, ultrasounds, acupuncture. Multiple blood tests. I’m currently on testosterone replacement with hcg and estrogen blocker. My numbers were not that bad before I started but I figured it might help.

I have been dating a woman for three months and have only had short lousy sex with her twice with the help of Pt-141 or brentolamine. It’s getting to the point where we are considering having another man that fulfills her sexually.

No problems have been found with me. So I have seen a sex therapist for two years also with out results.

So my question is, where to go now? I want to find a urologist in Atlanta GA that would be willing to prescribe medication for off label use like Apomorphine

Thanks. He is actually the first urologist I saw 10 years ago. He prescribed the pills, gave me a testosterone shot. After no results or improvements he recommended a sex therapist.

I’m looking for a doctor who can or is willing to try to figure out what is wrong with me. I am otherwise very healthy and in shape.

The path to a cure seems to be pills>psychology>shots>implant. My penis is healthy. My body is either producing too much of a chemical or not enough of a chemical. Is there a doctor that is willing to put in the effort to find out what it is and willing to experiment with treatments for a rare form of ED.

I see he recently started a rejuvall for ED.

I suffered with ED for 30 years. When it started i went to a doctor who was recognized as an authority in men’s sexual dysfunction. He determined it was all in my head and sent me to a Psychologist. That doctor found nothing wrong. I continued working my way through doctor after doctor and all they seemed interested in was writing prescriptions. Finally I found a Urologist in Atlanta who listened to everything I told him and sent me for a Penile Doppler year. It came back conclusive that I had a severe Venous Leak.

My symptoms were being able to get hard only while on my back and even that progressively became more difficult. Almost immediately when I rolled over, sat up, or moved much at all it went soft. It is pretty difficult to have sex without moving. It was extremely frustrating. Very often Venous Leaks are position dependent. In my case, as I mentioned, I could become erect while on my back, but no other positions. If you can get hard but lose it when you move, I would recommend asking about a test to se if you have a VL.

The Urologist who finally sat and listened to me was Dr. Roosevelt Allen at Georgia Urology. They have multiple locations. I saw him at their Lawtenceville and Snellville offices, but he may work out of others. Once he received the Doppler Test results he was the first doctor of the many I had seen who told me about Penile Implants. They are basically the last thing to consider after all other avenues have been tried. When nothing worked, he referred me to his associate to discuss Penile Implants and after doing a lot of research I moved forward with it.

I am not trying to sell you on an implant, but am saying Dr. Allen was my hero for actually trying to help me and he succeeded. To me that is something lacking in many doctors.

I have a couple of times. It felt like a bunch of bees attacked my penis and made it swell in a non sexual way. Also ended up with the dreaded 4 hour erection.

I’m researching reguvall. Hard to determine what it is. It’s Morgansterns own brand, but the information is very vague. I’m guessing shockwave ?

His machine is Storz Medical's, DUOLITH SD1. Yes, it is shockwave therapy. Morganstern like others does not use acoustic wave machines, which are proven to do nothing. Shockwave does have recorded results. Ive been to Morganstern and done the shockwave therapy for Venus Leak... Nothing changed so far.... well see.
