Totally confused ... Please help and opinion

Hello again from me. I went through a Doppler test a few days ago. I was given Alprostadil and managed to get an erection of about 30-40%, which disappeared quickly. The fact was that I was extremely stressed and worried (although the doctor was great). When I got about 30% erection, the doctor went into the office and the study began. Then he left me again 2-3 times and finally told me that I had no problems with either arteries or veins. My question to you is -
how can it be understood that I have no problem with venous drainage after not getting an erection.
I saw a diastolic value of +12.0 (WOW) on the screen then it started to fall again to +2.0 and I didn't understand anything. At one time I saw -3.00, but briefly, then again some other values ......
Is there anyone who knows what this means

Did he give you that percentage? Was the test only to check for leakage? maybe you have arterial thinning? I think you need to talk to your doctor a little bit more in depth… We can all agree that 30 to 40% is not a full erection… good luck with this, my friend! I really hope you get it figured out soon…

Sorry, my blind people phone it said thinning instead of issues… it’s probably more of an issue of blood getting in then out… If that’s all he was checking for, that’s all that he would’ve looked for… I don’t know why he wouldn’t have done both but people are mysterious… Again, ask him what he did find…

He told me that I couldn't get a normal erection because my heart rate was probably more than 120 and I was extremely stressed. He told me I had a blood flow that was well above normal and that I had no venous leak. He said that the arteries were very good and also wide enough, even above normal. I don't understand anything anymore

The other thing he told me was that there was nothing stronger than my brain and the need for the body to transfer blood to other places than the penis. Ie ..... no shot or pill to end a man in an erection if they shoot him with a gun or push him from the 8th floor :)
And here I see answers that are the opposite of what I heard. ie that Trimix can give you an erection after jumping WITHOUT a parachute from an airplane ..... (Figuratively speaking)

Alprostadil is a sure thing for me. Given proper dose and injection technique I WILL get boned out. You probably didn't get the right dose for a towel hanger and it probably wasn't necessary for the test. I imagine the doctor errored on the side of caution so he didn't have to treat for priapism.

Nobody ever said any of this would make sense. I’m not a doctor or an expert. But here’s a few nuggets of truth/fact to ponder.

Sexual arousal will increase your heart rate and lead to increased arterial inflow, hopefully surpassing that which comes out via the veins. At some point the increased size of the penis due to the increased inflow ensures the veins are squeezed, reducing outflow even further. That’s when you get a boner that throbs and pulses.

Adrenaline will increase your heart heart rate too, and it is your erection’s worst enemy. Veins will dilate and allow blood to flow thru your vascular system like a freight train. If someone overreacts to a Trimix injection and ends up with a priapism type every reaction, the first course treatment is injections of drugs that emulate adrenaline or will cause an increase in the body’s adrenaline output.

If a guy with venous leakage achieves an erection, one way to maintain it longer than usual is to clench the pelvic floor muscles which helps keep the veins sealed off and prevent the erection trombone subsiding too quick. This also has the downside of stopping the flow of any seminal fluid towards the bulbous urethra so ejaculation can occur. That’s kind of a no win situation.

I know you said your doctor stated no venous leakage but we’re you flat on your back or in different positions during the test? The first time I got looked at, 1989, they weren’t seeing a leak until I mentioned I could get erect all day long to masturbate on my back but I would lose it in any other position. So they put me on my knees and simulated a pelvic thrust. It was like immediately opening the flood gates of a dammed up river.

Ok. Deep breath. Keep this in mind. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Erection problems are often mysteries not easily solved. But eventually they do get solved. Keep plugging. Your answer to a doc would who says nothing is wrong is “ there IS something wrong, you jjust haven’t found it yet.”

It took them 6 months to diagnose my auto immune illness because I didn’t match one set of numbers on one blood test. They figured it out finally but I’m not a fan of bone marrow biopsies or wide awake bronchioscopy. JUst keep fighting the good fight. YOu know your body better than anyone.

The weirdest thing is that when I am with a girl I can get a good erection (95%), I can walk, take off my clothes, go to bed, jump , walk , stays on knees and the erection is good BUT... and the moment penetration begins ..... 2 min then the erection drops. It is also strange that during masturbation ( watching porn ) I can get a maximum of 50-60% erection, which does not last long.

There is a lot going on here. First, adrenaline can definitely kill injections. second - I am hearing way high anxiety issues. Anxiety produces adrenaline = no erection. So, what is going on during intercourse that is causing anxiety? What is going on with masturbation that is causing poor erections. There is a TON of stuff to explore. Don't give up. I would definitely talk to a doctor about dealing with Anxiety. Do NOT take ssri's because they have sexual side effects. I would get a sex therapist and see where anxiety is coming from.
PM me if you have more questions.
