A question about penil rehab post radical prostatectomy

I had a Radical Prostatectomy 3.5 months ago. I've been on nightly 5mg cialis for two months now and had my first nocturnal erection that was hard enough for penetration two nights ago. It only lasted a few minutes but Yipee I had it. I had one last weeked that was close to being hard enough to penetrate but not quite there but it lasted for at least 10 minutes. I've had a few times it has swelled up but I figured it was just the extra blood from the PDE5 inhibitor. I have a question for you guys that have been through this. What do you think the odds are that I will become a good pill responder in the next 18-24 months? Any personal stories you are willing to share would be nice too.

I envy your progress (this from someone 3 years out and maybe, barely gets unaided or even full strength pills nocturnals but never good enough to use em).

Did your Doc instruct you to up your Cialis to full strength (20mg) whenever you really want to try to do the Big One? That is the way to go since no one expects 5mg to do any good for a post RRP patient as far as actually aiding in getting an erection.

I guess the issue is, does your nocturnal come along just randomly or is it getting more regular. Well, just start with Friday Night 20mg and see how it goes over the next couple of days.

Thanks for the response Jim. The nocturnals come on very randomly. I've only had one nocturnal penetratable woody so far. I've awoken with several swollen but still limp ones several times, but they don't occur every night. Once a week, I'll take a full doses of 20 mg levitra, 100 mg viagra or 20 mg of cialis with no luck so far during daytime or evening hours. It does swell up with a lot of foreplay but never gets hard. I've had one shot of PGE1 that really hurt: the erection hurt not the shot. That last hard woody came on about a week after the PGE1 shot. I think the PGE1 started waking things up down there. I'll be gettting my first shot of trimix in a week.
