Prostate MRI

Postby DaveKell » Sat Mar 14, 2020 4:48 pm

I’m very tired of the tests involved with watchful waiting over my PC diagnosis. The urologist remarked I had a small prostate. The biopsy was very uncomfortable to say the least. This morning I had to use an enema at 4am to prepare for an mri. They said I’d experience “mild discomfort “ when the “antenna “ was inserted in my rectum. It was medieval torture. I was about to come off the table and yelled for him to stop pushing it in. I told him my sigmoid colon was removed years ago and he said that’s likely why it was hurting. He had to continue until it was in place. The inflation of the bulb to seat it was the worst. Apparently the section of my large intestine remaining isn’t as flexible as the sigmoid. I need these medical issues to go away. April 6 I’m having the 14” long rods in my spine that are loose taken out. Fun times.
