Hey guys. I’m glad I found this forum, it gives me hope with treatments. I had been on an ssri(viibryd) for several years and previously on Zoloft. The whole reason I started Any of them was because of slight anxiety but mainly PE. They did help with that and while taking them I didn’t have many issues. Fast forward to July of 2019 when I decided not to refill the prescription as I felt I was in a good place. I’m married and I was happy with life. I didn’t realize it was such a big deal not to taper until after the fact. Wasn’t a big deal at first, by two weeks after I stopped I lost all sexual desire, I don’t really have a response to sexual stimuli, have lost a lot of sensation there. I can still orgasm and sometimes too soon. It has now been a year with no real change in problems. I have been cycling between viagra and cialis to get by and they worked great at first, then the past month I noticed cialis was hardly working. No feeling of activity there after taking and erections are week again with it. Past week or two I have noticed viagra not working as well either. I have found basically I have what’s called PSSD and it can sometimes be permanent. Some people do recover after years. I will do whatever it takes to keep my marriage strong. I am going to the dr Monday to see about other pde5 pills to try and if they don’t work I guess I’ll give injections a try for a bit but if I don’t heal in another year or so I guess I may be looking at an implant. I can sometimes get an erection if I try hard enough but it is very weak. I think the bulk of it is because of the fact that I don’t really get turned on now so my arousal is messed up and I don’t feel much pleasure there. It’s a dull numbness even though I still feel touch and hot and cold. I’m trying to keep from being too stressed as I know it doesn’t help. I even get some flaccid shrinkage off and on.. probably stress and partially probably because of lack of libido. I’m on testosterone therapy for past few months since during my search for problems the dr found I was low. Just wanted to vent, see if anyone else out there can relate to having same issues, and looking for feedback on other treatments that May help. I again think if I can get libido and feeling back some I think my issues would resolve as the few windows I’ve had with trt where I had some slight desire, I can get it up. Also of note, once I start having sex I still seem to get turned on and enjoy it. I just can’t initiate the arousal. Thanks for reading guys.

Hey Mark!
Welcome to FT.
When you visit your doc, ask him about Trimix injections. When it was working well for me (three years) it generated a hard Erection for about 1.5 hours without stimulation and continued whether or not I orgasmed.

Thank you for the comment. Do you ever have to worry about priapism with the injection?

Keep the dose as low as possible. Erections for no more than 2 hours.

Hi Mark, what level was your Testosterone test results before treatment with TRT and how are you taking the testosterone and at what dosage? Have they put you on any other hormone modulating meds as well?
Are you getling noctural erections?
Do you feel some form of depression is present?

My levels prior to trt was total roughly 300 and free T was I believe 4.6 . I feel depressed about my situation yes but I truly feel it’s being created from this not the other way around. I’m taking 200mg/ml .23 ml three times a week, 350iu hcg three times a week, .125mg anastrazole three times a week and two clicks of 50mg test cream every morning. The cream is a new addition and seems to help some with sensitivity and erections but I haven’t noticed much from the rest of the protocol and ive been doing it about three or four months. Last labs my test was 1100 and e2 was 32. Cream was added because my dht was still on the lower side at like 42 and I still didn’t have much libido.

I do seem to notice nocturnal erections some nights so not sure how often I get them but several times a week I slightly wake up with one. But usually don’t in the mornings or spontaneously when I’m awake at all.

Why have they put you on Anastrazole? You seem to be on quite a lot of T. Plus the HCG dose is way to high given the amount of T you are on. Aromatase inhibitors are awful drugs, very difficult to control hormone homeostasis with these inhibitors. As they have put you on so much T your body is trying to convert too much T into E, then using AI to try and combat the excess E. Aromatase inhibitors cause too many issues in the male IMO, plus there is evidence they contribute to depression.
If it were me I would be going back to basics.
T level of 1100 is too high.

I was on hcg to keep fertility and it worked as my wife is pregnant but it spikes my e2. I aromatize very highly to e2. My dosage does need to go down some. I’m thinking of going to test only. I’m taking a very small dose of anastrazole that’s being specially compounded so I don’t have to try to cut them. But I still don’t like taking it.
