Not measuring up

I had my robotic prostatectomy five years ago. I have recently started using Trimix and it certainly works. The problem is what I have to work with is certainly not what I had before. I believe I have lost 1.5" I have also put on a few pounds which doesn't help. I had been around 6.5" before surgery. What experiences have you men had? I know as part of the process a section of the urethra is removed and reattached. Did my surgeon get carried away and removed more than necessary? Also is it too far past surgery to use a VED? On a very rare occasion I have woken up with a bit of a plumper but nothing that lasts or that would be suitable for sex. I suppose that indicates that there is some blood flow going on down there. Oh, one other thing. It seems I have a bit less sensitivity in my glans. Any thoughts on that? Thanks in advance for any feedback I may receive.

The prostate is the size of a walnut (or bigger as we age).
The prostatectomy removes the prostate (which grows around the urethra, the urethra travels through the center of the prostate) so losing an 1”+ makes sense. Hopefully you also lost ALL the cancer with it.

No I don't think it's too late to get value from using a VED. Get to it.

I second bldoink's advice. Even if you don't regain any size, the flushing of blood through your penile tissues is good for them and stretching the penile tissues to maintain elasticity is also good (and applying blood pressure from the inside is best and applying vacuum from the outside is a close second - applying tension from the outside comes in third). Gentle stretching MIGHT re-gain some lost size, but the prevention of continuing to lose size (which happens if you don't get erections on a continuing basis) is important if you want to use your penis for sex in the future (by pills, VED, Injections, suppositories or implant).

There's quite a bit of information on the topic of penile length loss after RP. I cite one article below. Once again, it's the same story, we're all different so it's hard (pardon the pun) to extrapolate data to our own experiences.

For me, I never measured the length of my penis before surgery (although I wish I had). I was never too large, but feel I'm about the same as pre-surgery. After a Trimix injection, I measure about 6.0 inches in length and 5.5 inches in circumference. I feel my girth has increased. More data on men's penes below.

Check out this story of a person who had RP and with a lot of work they were actually able to gain size:

Falcon... I experienced radiation rather than prostate removal. Also experienced six months of a ADT to shrink the prostate prior to radiation which also produced a pubic fat pad.. Didn't pay much attention to my dick for about six months and then my gf discovered I had lost about 1 inch in length and a half inch in girth. The injection does get the girth back but the loss of length has remained the same. My girlfriend is happy with her new 5 1/2 inch dick therefore I'm happy to. Please let me hear back from you if you find an easier way to regain length.
