Lower ab injury causing ED?

Hey guys,

so my story is that I had ed for a loooong time (say 5 yrs or so), before I started to work on lower body strengthening and stretching. After doing that for a few months I felt a lot better, but still wasn't where I wanted to be. That's when I went to get my pelvic floor checked out, where a pt told me that my pelvic floor was weak and tight, and that my lower abs were also very tight. Cool. After that, around 3 months ago, I started to do a stretch called a cobra stretch (looks like this - https://www.yogajournal.com/.image/c_limit%2Ccs_srgb%2Cq_auto:good%2Cw_700/MTQ2MTgwNzE0NjIyMTAxMDI0/cobra-pose-bhujangasana.webp), but I did it very very intensely. I did this a couple of times. A few hours after doing the cobra stretch my last time, my lower abs and my groin felt like they were "separating," causing severe ed, worse than ever before. I was a fool and kept doing lower ab exercises after this, hoping that somehow it would make things better. But every time i did the exercises, my ed got permanently worse. I now feel really weird sensations in my lower ab (pressure, dull sensation, etc), and it feels like there's no blood flowing to my penis. I can get like a 60-70% erection, but only like once a week. I got checked out by a Urologist after the fact, and he said that everything looks normal. His suspicion is nerve entrapment, bulging disc, or something of the like. I'm set up to see a neurologist this Wednesday.

Does anyone know what the hell happened here?! Any insight anyone can provide? Is this uncurable because it sure feels like it is!! If anyone could help that would be wonderful, I'm freaking out over here

I'm 25 yo btw, in case that changes anything.

What did the uro do when he checked you out? Just look at it and touch, or did he inject you with vasodilator and use an ultrasound to measure your blood flow? The latter is what they typically do to check for veinous leak.

Still, whether he finds something or not, your options are probably the same. If viagra/cialis etc pills don't work, you can try injections, though at your age I imagine injections every time you have sex would not fit your lifestyle. In that case your last (and probably best tbh) option is the implant. They have extremely high satisfaction rates for both partners and are really a good option as long as you choose an experienced surgeon.

Touch + rectal exam. No vasodilator. Probably going to see a specialist uro later.
