Urologist dissappointment

When I started having ED issues about six years ago, I asked my family doc for help. Got on Viagra and had good results. I decided to see a urologist just to make sure I covered my bases. Biggest waste of time ever. He had no interest in running tests or trying other meds; just said keep doing what you are doing. I left really soured on the whole thing. Now, the meds are not working so well anymore, so I may need to try again, certainly not with the same doc, though.

Sorry you had a disappointing experience.

If you tell us where you live you might find others here in the same area who can suggest a good doc.

My urologist wasn’t interested in testing for venous leak or anything else either. He said the treatment wouldn’t change. If the testing gave him info that would change the treatment he would do it but since it doesn’t, he believes it’s a waste of time and money.

I too had good results with pills for a while. They stopped being as effective as I needed. Now I take injections and they work well.

There are lots of helpful people here and a ton of great information.

I hope you find a solution here.
