Here to offer some hope

I’m a 30 year old male. I’ve struggled with ED my entire life. I’m talking haven’t been able to get hard really ever. Highschool and college were a nightmare trying to buy counterfeit viagra just to not be embaressed during sex. At 21 I had an ultra sound and the urologist told me veneous leak. No hope for a cure. The next 9 years I tried a lot. Pumps. Vitamins. Electroshock therapy. Even hypnosis. I was ready to give up.

Until about 6 months ago I saw a urologist. He was young. Probably 35. But more importantly he cared. He stayed with me for 45 minutes. Going over family history. What I’ve tried. My past. Until he finally diagnosed. I’m sending you to physical therapy. For what I asked? He wanted to check my pelvic floor.

So I went. And once I got over the embarrassment of a beautiful mid 40s woman seeing my junk every week. I was relieved. She told me I had one of the tightest pelvic floors she’s ever seen. Could have been chased by years of football or my mothers poor driving. It didn’t quite matter. She went to work. Massaging my legs, stomach, gooch. And yes. The inside of my anus. After about 6 weeks of these sessions. I started to notice I could get erections of my own. Not like the ones you see in porn but decent enough.

Now I have a few stretches to keep me loose. You may have read to do kegels on this board or others. But DO NOT instead do reverse kegels. I still take cialis for sex. For 20 my pill lasts me about 6 days. Where before it may not last me 12 hours. What I’m getting at is that hope may not be lost after all. I was the worst of the worst. So please. See if you can see a PT therapist who specializes in the pelvic floor. It has literally changed my life and I hope it can for someone else too.

Thank you for your great story. I think pelvic floor issues are more common with regard to ED in young men than many people realise.
Did you have any of the symptoms of hard flaccid?
It was interesting that the first urologist determined you had a venous leak from his tests.

Could you provide a bit more information on the "pelvic floor" issue? What is it about? What causes it?
I mean, i could research it online but it'd be interesting to read an actual testimony rather than general medical stuff...

Yes, please do!

I've never heard of pelvic floor issues before and I have no idea what they are.

Flavio, I'm sure you have read the posts about hard flaccid on Frank talk? Pelvic floor problems cause the hard flaccid condition. Our moderator knows a lot about all of this and is often referring people to see a pelvic floor specialist.
There is a lot of information on the web about pelvic floor problems and pelvic pain that some men suffer with for years that cause ED in young men. The intense pain does not always accompany the condition.
