Uncomfortable doctors visit

I am 3 months post implant, and have some nagging issues I wanted to discuss with my surgeon, whom I am very comfortable with. I couldn't get in to see him for about a month, but I could see his PA today. My agenda items are: The cylinder tip pain on one side when fully inflated; lack of glans engorgement and can it be improved beyond what little help daily Cialis has provided; is using a cock ring safe, because it places pressure on the tubes passing by the base of my dick going to the reservoir; and lack of penis sensitivity and difficulty reaching orgasm. All very personal and rather graphic questions, and the PA is a woman I have never met. I worry about what language to use. Do I keep the terminology very clinical, which is not how I talk with my Doctor? Just how does one discuss using a cock ring without saying cock ring LOL.
So, I'm going to gird my loins and just lay out the facts, maybe trying to use "penis" instead of "dick or cock" during our conversation. I mean, she is a PA for a dick surgeon after all. Still, I'm not looking forward to this situation. Sigh.

I have a female PA as well and have become comfortable talking to her about my issues and treatment. She is a professional. She has heard it all. She was the one I initially asked about the feasibility of getting an implant. My advice is don't use slang, but tell her everything that is bothering you and she can help. What I've found is that if I ask something that she needs advice answering, she leaves the exam room and either comes back with the answer from the URO or brings him back to discuss and check things out. I find she is willing to spend a bit more time with me than the over-busy URO who is trying to divide time between seeing patients and surgery.

I guess I differ from your first answer. I'd say just go for it. Like you said, she's a PA for a dick doc. If she can't handle open "frank" talk she's in the wrong field. I'm betting she won't have any issues. I wouldn't be purposely crude but I expect she will be fine with common slang.

That went really well. She was really cool, even when I slipped up and used "dick" and "balls" and didn't bat an eye when I brought up using the cock ring. She took one look at my inflated penis and identified the origin of the pain. I still have a bend to the left just below the head and the cylinder points straight ahead. Told me to keep modeling and to do my cycling 20 minutes to the max, deflate till pain lessens for 10 minutes and then re-inflate to max for another 20 and repeat till I hit the 1 hour mark with each session. She gave me a sildenafil script for 20 mg tables to maybe help with glans engorgement. Using the cock ring is fine. Sensitivity will recover of time, a long time, as damaged nerves regenerate. So all in all, an appointment that made me feel better.

Gotta keep in mind that doctors are also people. They also shit, they also fuck, they also get ED...
So even tho it's proper to use cleaner language, they are not royalty or the pope, so the occasional slip of the language won't shock them.
And then considering all the sex-related questions and topics - it's their job, they are technically even better placed to talk about this than anyone else.

Happy to hear your doctor visit went fine. My primary care doc is a female PA, she did my pre-surgery exam before my implant. She has done my yearly check ups, including the hernia test and prostrate exam. She was a nurse prior so I'm sure she has seen it all.
As a retired medical professional I can vouch for seeing it all. I was a therapist teaching people life skills following an injury, surgery or medical affliction. That included helping folks dress and bathe. Yes, you see it all.
