If you have mild incontinence will it stop or decrease after a Penile implant? I assume having a sling placed during the implant is practical but maybe the implant along would do the trick. I didn’t ask my doctor as this is something I’m contemplating.
Thanks

I don't want to give you false hope but my squirts seem a touch better now. I don't have an incontinence problem so keep that in mind.

Never had any incontinence issues but since my implant I'm a dribbler. No matter how much I shake it, squeeze it and wipe with some paper there always seems to be one or two drops that dribble into my underwear.
At home I sit to pee. After all the wiping, squeezing and shaking when I stand up, dribble. Using a urinal it's the same issue, I can shake it till no drips come out, five seconds after zipping up, dribble.

Interesting, one of my biggest fears going in and didn’t share w the Uro because I thought he might reject me as a patient because I was weak in the “ holding it dept.” So I told him to be sure to not put the reservore on top of my bladder ( which ironically is where the 2nd surgery started) as a way to rest that my weakness would not be made worse.
Well after surgery my weakness was gone, im holding it much better then before , I have no reason why this happened but im happy for it.

I guess there's always a sling if all else fails.

Thank God we have the Internet as a resource today. Years ago there was no such info pool at the tip of our hand. Thanks for your insight.

Thank you for all your insight folks. Much appreciated. I'll keep on reading about implants until I make my mind up. There's no turning back and I'm not getting any younger at 72 lol.
