Hi guys.. I'm confused about a med thats supposed to enhance libido. Its called Vyleesi. But I read that its focus is meant for women not men. Is this true? Can it also be used for men?

googled info:
What is Vyleesi used to treat?
What is Vyleesi? Vyleesi ( bremelanotide) is used to treat low sexual desire in women who have not gone through menopause and have not had low sexual desire in the past. Vyleesi should be used only to treat low sexual desire that occurs with any type of sexual activity, in any sexual situation, or with any sexual partner.
From drugs.com:
Vyleesi is not for use in men, or in women who have gone through menopause. Bremelanotide should not be used to improve sexual performance

Thats very strange because a uro told me that he prescribes vyleesi to men for low libido.
I found this. Let me know what you think:
"It activates melanocortin receptors and has been shown to help restore a natural sexual desire in women and men for many years."

Reported for a joke? OKeeee! Granted it's not the Jokes subforum but lighten up. No offence intended to anyone and I don't see why anyone would be offended.

There's no reason that Vyleesi can't work for men as bremelanotide works for both genders. The nasal formulation is easy to dose but very inefficient. I can totally see a progressive urologist prescribing it "off-label".
If you want to use bremelanotide / PT-141, do your homework and go the subcutaneous injection route. I personally think the stuff is dope.
