Hi, I was just wondering if anyone was having any success with electro shock therapy? I have recently started a course and it feels like it is working.
Thanks
Alex

AW,
Could you explain a little more? Are you referring to "estim" or the use of "tens" stimulation of the penis?

I've tried e-stim (using a TENS unit) for sexual pleasure and it can feel great. Since I got ED I've tried it to see what happens. It certainly didn't do anything to produce an erection, but I can still orgasm while flaccid using it. At least it is good for that. I've never seen anything about using it for therapy.

Thanks very much for the replies. Im based in europe and they have a therapy here called "focal shocktherapy". The Gainswave therapy in the US has had some mixed results at least thats what Im reading in the discussion groups (it uses acoustic waves). Anaecdotally at least I am having really good success with this focal stuff. Was just wondering if anyone was having a similar experience to me.. it really is starting to give me hope.

Are you talking about "focused shockwave" as opposed to "Radial shockwave", which is what Gainswave appears to use. Focused shockwave machines can only be used by medical personnel, where as Radial shockwave machines can be used by non medical.

Yes, focused or "focal shockwave therapy" here in Europe. I believe the Gainswave uses acoustic waves but this uses focused shock waves. I have had really good success after 4 sessions. I also have high blood pressure so Im hoping this treatment in combination with the right meds to reduce my blood pressure will get me where I would like to be. This ED is depressing but I should have addressed it ages ago. Im sure the blood pressure is absolutley not helping.
