Shockwave while erect vs. flaccid

Has anyone heard of shockwave done while erect instead of flaccid?

I had it done while flaccid a while back (Storz) and didn't notice much of a difference, but found out that Dr. Goldstein in San Diego has the following approach:

1 - His shockwave treatments are done while the penis is erect instead of flaccid

2 - He does them 5 days in a row, all in one week rather than spaced out once per week over several weeks

He used the Euro Gold machine.

I'm hesitant to dish out the money since it didn't work for me the first time, but somewhat intrigued since the approach is different according to 1 and 2 above.

Eager to hear your thoughts

No, not heard of this. Has this doctor given any explanation as to why this could be more effective?

I tried it both ways at two different clinics. Neither produced any positive results. The second clinic originally told me that the reason that the first clinic failed to help me was because they used a less focused machine while I was flaccid. I bought that reasoning and dropped a couple grand on another round of treatments... this time with an erection. (They injected 10 units of Trimix to produce an erection). Needless to say, that too was a waste of money.
The only success I've read about with shockwave therapy was a few men who bought their machines online and used them for a year or so before any noticeable results appeared. Even then the results were not anything to get excited about.
