New Chat - server down

Guys,
The new chat program requires moving the whole site to a new server. There really isn't any great time to do it, so the guys are just going to do it.
Wedbesday, Sept 8, from 10AM-2PM the ssite will be offline. It make take some time for each global area to pick it up, but it will be up and running soon. This is porbably the last time we need to do this since we should not have too many major chamges after this.
You will like the new chat program a lot. You can create rooms for 3 or more people to talk in, private chat opens in a small window so you can see what's going on in the main lobby. You even get smiley's and ...I think...sounds. LOL

Yes, this will come at a price. I'm sure you have a lot of related expenses. I'm not sure how your biz is set up but I will pledge a modest amount to help out.

Hi Frank and thanks for the heads up. As you know I have been having trouble with the chat feature for a couple of weeks now. My chat window will not load.

Tomorrow is moving day for the Chat baord. It will be so nice to be able to chat with my friends again.

OK, here's the latest as of this AM. The move to the new server is pending - and holding due to other corporations in the internet world approving said move. Technology is great when it works. But this is waiting for the previous holder to release it.
The chat issue is not ours at all. The current program of chat is from a different site - and that entire site appears to have gone down - and perhaps be gone for good. This is simply coincidental with the moving of FrankTalk. So, we would have no chat right now whether or not we were moving FT. The good news is that we will have a whole new chat soon. If we weren't getting a new chat and had to find one, it could take weeks.

Looking forward to the new chat program Paul. But boy do I missing chatting with you guys. I think I'm going into withdrawal.
