Here is possible good news fellas. There is a new test called Next Gen Sequencing that can accurately identify the type of bacteria on infected implants. The infection, if caught early on, can be treated with antibiotics and eliminate the need for removal of the implant.

great news if true, is this technique already in use or being tested?
