I had open abdominal aneurysm repair surgery done on 9/26 and the surgeon told me that I will have retrograde regulation now for the rest of my life. I have tested the waters and sure enough I’m not having a regular orgasm. I kind of feel it go backwards a little bit but I’m not really having the same sensations or even close. Will these nerves regenerate where I can start feeling stuff again? Does nybody have any experience with thi? s thank you

I took have retrograde though be it for a different reason. It's been 6+ years and no sign of changing. Though nothing comes out the orgasims are still very intense. Not the same as before but still satisfying. I don't think, never heard of, that it will ever go back to the way it was before. Sorry and hope I'm wrong.

I too, have retrograde ejaculations. It had gotten progressively worse over the years for no apparent reason other than possibly the prostate meds I'm taking or the enlarged prostate itself. My Uro tried medication changes but that didn't help at all. I sure miss the external squirting but all I get now, sometimes, is a drop or so. I guess that nothing will change it and I've accepted it - certainly much better than nothing. Don't get me wrong, it still feels good, but ain't the same.

I had a doctor prescribe Flomax. He felt getting up to pee 3 times a night was excessive and indicative of prostate problems. My PSA was very low and he ordered the drug with no DRE or other inquiry or testing. Within 3 or 4 days I was suffering retrograde ejaculation, and I hated it. I found a new doctor, who saw no reason to prescribe Flomax. Been fine since.

I was prescribed Flowmax and was told it might cause retrograde ejaculation. I was one of the lucky ones. The Flowmax didn’t solve my problem. It did help some had a growth on my prostate that was at the opening of the bladder restricting urine flow. Next step was green light laser (TURP) surgery to vaporize the growth and open the prostate. When you have this the percentages of getting retrograde ejaculation go way up. Which is why I didn’t want to get it. A couple of FT guys discussed their experience with TURP and did get retrograde ejaculation. I finally had to have the surgery because I started having UTI”s and then had a very bad kidney infection. I waited very impatiently till I could test it out. And I’m one of the lucky guys that still can squirt. Some guys say the climax is as good or stronger with it and there are advantages to not squirting, such as being able to JO anywhere and no worry of anything to clean up.

Have had retrograde ejaculation due to flomax for 2 years , then had a TURP ,
essentially I have permanent retrograde ejaculation. I have noted my orgasm
intensity has improved over time and at times I think I have ejaculated normally . I suggest give it time and you will adjust to the change . At first I disliked not ejaculating normally but then became accustomed to it. My wife is very happy with less mess in the bed .
