It stopped working for me recently. I'm a creature of habit and still take them now but after my pending penile implant surgery, I can stop taking it for good.
While it worked, I liked that I did not have to worry about dropping a pill 20-30 mins before sex, because who knows when sex is going to happen?
Before going on 5mg Cialis, I took the higher dosage (as needed) Viagra and Cialis pills but that was really inconvenient and they also gave me headaches. Never got a headache from 5mg daily Cialis.
So, my recommendation is that you ask for and try 5mg Cialis and, if it works for you, stick w/it.

Hey, great to hear such feedback bro.
So basically you were popping 5mgs everyday. But for how long ? Could u elaborate on that?
at what age did you started, how long it worked, was it taken literally everyday?
Also what was the reason of your ED why u started pills.
Did you also took sometimes 10 or more mg?
regards and all the best
I started taking 5mg Cialis at least 20 years ago and am still taking it now even though it doesn't work for ED for me anymore.
I was going to stop taking it after my penile impant surgery but I've read that continuing to take it might help to enlarge the glans which is something the implant does not do entirely. So, the jury's still out on whether to stop it or not.
I never had full blown ED before I started taking Cialis so I was never really sure whether I actually needed it or not. Just kept taking it as "insurance."
I had great erections w/it for all the years that I took it until just recently -- w/in the past 2-3 years -- when I had difficulty keeping it erect and full blown ED (it will engorge and I still get nocturnal erections but it won't stay erect) only happened in the past yr, which is why I've chosen to get the implant.
When I 1st started taking ED drugs, I was put on Viagra which I think was a 50 mg tab but it gave me huge headaches and, after doing some research, I asked my doc at the time to put me on 5mg Cialis instead because I didn't want to worry about taking a pill before sex and waiting til it kicked ion to "do it." So, I never took the standard 20 mg Cialis tab.
I've been taking 5 mg Cialis ever since. End of story. I hope you find this info helpful.

PS: There was a short time when my med insurance was not paying for cialis when I bought some tadafil (eg., Cialis) made in and shipped to me from outside the US. Was never sure whether I was getting the real thing or not.
This was when I didn't have much of an ED problem to begin with but I switched back to the real thing as soon as I could do so and I get my Cialis now based on a diagonsis of BPH which is an accepted "medically necessary" use for Cialis. No insurer will pay for it if you just say that you have ED.
