Erection during urination ? Anyone ?

Has anyone ever had a partial erection during urination? This is super weird and I don't know what could be causing it...

I have experienced very partial "erections" when sitting to pee if bent over at the "perfect angle", whatever that is. It's very transitory and not useful for anything but it is a bit of a curiosity when it happens. I assumed it was just a combination of gravity and vessels being bent in such a was that they were more open than normal.

Ever since robotic prostatectomy (but not in the early post-surgery months) I have noticed it is easier to "create" an erection with a full bladder. And, very infrequently, even a firmer erection has resulted when using the toilet which requires the sitting position.

I agree, penile tissues are more conducive to blood flow -- as well as natural requirement to exercise the Kegel muscles.

it’s normal with a bowel movement also. Forced pressure on the muscles in the
area of the prostate can cause an unintended partial erection. It just becomes harder to
urinate with a firm erection. Many years ago a urologist massaged my prostate to get
a semen sample. To my dismay I got an erection in the presence of the doctor. He calmed
me down and said it was from the pressure he applied to my prostate . Just a natural
physical reaction to the pressure.
