Aspirin (100mg/day) improves ED?

Just stumbled upon an interesting article (
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29344879/).
In summary, people taking 100mg aspirin / day experienced a significant increase in erectile function (at first glance, a level of improvement similar to those brought on by PDE5 inhibitors such as Viagra/sildenafil, Cialis/tadalafil, ...).
Given that aspirin is available OTC and pretty safe to take daily as a blood thinner, I might give this a try (perhaps in conjunction with tadalafil).
Anyone else who already has experiences with such "treatment"?

Thanks for sharing. I only see a couple of similar studies. While I have not tried this treatment I do appreciate you sharing.

There are a crap load of benefits of taking one 81mg of Baby Aspirin a day. I wouldn't say it would have the same effects as PDE5 medicines bur logically it makes perfect sense.

As a diabetic, my Endo put me on 81 mg aspirin daily because higher levels of blood sugar thickens the blood. When my ED started to ramp up I tried taking a regular 325 mg aspirin the night before I anticipated sex. I never felt any significant improvement in generating an erection and had to rely on Viagra.
However, my diabetes may have screwed up the results.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet but I would be very cautious with this regime. Its 81mg for a reason and that is as a controlled blood thinner. It already leads to visible bruising in many of us. A couple years ago that recommendation was even questioned. While I personally continue with the 81 mg it was after checking with my MD and he thought in my case I should related to plaque build up that had already occurred. As senior citizens our risk of stroke increases significantly. The question is how thin is too thin and what might be the consequences.
In general, I often wonder how many on this forum are using their body's for testing labs for all kinds of both OTC and prescription medications.
I'm feeling like my soap box is a little wobbly.
Finished.
Up (4Real)
Hopefully not finished up.

Baby aspirin (low dosing) improves dopamine, maybe about that and not about circulation.

The only issue about daily aspirin, is it is hard on your stomach lining and can increase bleeding risks. I have considered starting a daily aspirin regiment, but I read it is no longer being recommended for these reasons.
