My question is have anyone's wife or girlfriend tryed or are using Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)? I know this is a men's forum but was wondering if it helped their female partner? I will be getting an implant soon and wife has all the symptoms of low female hormones and we are investigating into it. HRT is mainly for menopausal and perimenopausal women and it sound amazing. There are many stories on Frank Talk about couple in their 70s & 80s that have regular sex many times a week and I find this fascinating. HRT has just starting here in the US but in England it is widely used. So my question is below.
So, has anyone here tried HRT? If so, what was your wife’s experience?

My wife tried it in her forties, and it did work, but she got scared of the side affects and stopped. She will be 70 soon and has almost no sexual drive. It is what it is, and I love her regardless. I would never want her to do anything she didn't want to do.

I believe you are referring to the estrogen therapy that has been studied since the 1940s, and put into practice in the early 1950s. My wife has enjoyed sex through and after menopause, the same as before, because she got good estrogen therapy from her gynecologist. It took several iterations, over about 6-7 years, changing the hormones around to keep her "young," and that's how she feels at age 77! I'm that age, and can only bang her once a week, but she could do it most every day! In fact she plays with toys while I'm "down."
(She reports no side effects, and if there are some, go back to the doc for another iteration. It's not just one estrogen, it's more complicated, and takes time.)

I'm 63 and have been undergoing testosterone replacement therapy under a doctor's supervision for almost 10 years. First, years ago, it was the gel. Then injections weekly. Now, my doctor implants testosterone pellets in my butt every 4 months (the best method, imo). TRT has allowed me to maintain a vigorous libido and in combination with working out and diet, I feel great. It goes a LONG way in helping one maintain lean muscle. Sure, my nuts are the size of grapes now and along with my new implant (5 weeks postop as i write), I just consider those the cost of doing business for improved quality of life.
My soon to be ex-wife is 60 and also does HRT therapy. She found a doctor that also implants pellets using BIO-IDENTICAL hormones, which i am told are much safer than synthetic hormones (the ones most women are prescribed when they are younger). She has an amazing libido, gets as wet down below as any 25 year old woman, and tends to be in a much better mood and psychological state than in her early "hot flash" days. Her skin improved too.
