Sure, tends to work great after a while off the drug. I don’t know about safety of the drug though

Nope for me. I took Viagra for about 2 1/2 years then it quit working. Then I tried Cialis, didn't do anything. About 3 years later tried generic Viagra. That did nothing but give me a hot flash.

Main reason for ED is poor blood flow. It will get worse when you get older. Pills do not stop working. It is you that is not working properly anymore. For me Viagra worked about 10 years but then, in a very short time, it stopped working and the only thing that was left was the side effects.
65 yrs, had venous leak all my life, sildenafil and other pills don't work anymore properly, using Caverject with pills.

Yeah for me I took time off from using them and then they started working great but I also took time to really address my real reasons for ED including psychological ones.

I’ve personally used Cialis and found it to be effective, but there can be times when it seems to stop working. In my experience, factors like stress, changes in health, or even tolerance can impact its effectiveness. If you notice that Cialis is no longer working, it may be worth making sure that you are using really high-quality Cialis from reliable sources and then discuss this with your doctor. They can help identify any underlying issues and may suggest adjusting the dosage or exploring other options.

Staying relaxed and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can also make a difference.

I generally agree with this. Sildenafil (50-100mg) worked well for me. My doc put me on daily 5mg Tadalafil which did nothing; he upped it to 10mg daily which I still believe is not helping. I now add 50-100mg Sildenafil to the daily Tadalafil and it is much better, but not perfectly reliable. It's hard to scientifically analyze what works and what doesn't because I am trying everything and thereby corrupting the scientific evidence.

Try Levitra, the only one that worked for me and when it worked it was great. After 9 years it stopped working. 8 years later Trimix saved my sex life.

You're right on target with the problem ED treatments stop working is due to the underlying cause of the ED ( usually clogged arteries) is getting worse. (According to my doc anyway)..I had cardiac by-pass surgery 12 years ago in my late 50's. At that time Viagra worked great, but I had to gradually increase the dose to the maximum recommended dose. ( 100mgs)..I then went have been injecting Trimix which also gradually had to be increased over the past 10 years. After my heart surgery I did some research and found Dr. Ornish's treatment plan of a whole food plant based diet, exercise, some form of stress reduction ( Yoga, meditation, etc) and social supports. I noticed an improvement in my ED...I am on 5mgs daily of Cialis for BPH, but if alone, watching porn I get an erectionwithout any additional medication or injections. My EKG improved, my carotid sonograms improved along with dropping 15 pounds, and improved lab numbers.I don't smoke, never did and only socially consume alcohol. The older we get the more we need to pay attention to our own health. I have found prevention is worth a pound of cure, and generally I know my own body better than docs who spend 5 minutes with me every 6 months or so. There is now a great deal of research literature on the benefits of a whole food plant based diet..The 2 main "gurus" of the field is Dr. dean Onrush and DR. Eseletyn of the Cleveland Clinic. Best of health to everyone!
70 year old legally separated retired health-care professional. ED began in my early 50's. Viagra worked great for about 5 years, then had cardiac by-pass surgery and eventually moved to injections about 10 years ago.
