Anesthesia

Hi:
F1, here. I'm not new, just usually on the implant board.

Strange question: would anyone here happen to be an anesthesiologist, or know an anesthesiologist (friend, family member, etc.)? Have a question regarding skeletal muscle relaxation during general anesthesia. Yes, it is relevant to erectile dysfunction.

If not, does anyone know how I could possibly speak with one?

Thanks,
F1

What is your question?

Thanks for responding.

As the bulbospongiosum is a skeletal muscle, and anesthesia is capable of relaxing skeletal muscle, then logically anesthesia should relax the bulbospongiosum. Correct?

This is probably a no brainer, but I just need confirmation.

If you are sure it is skeletal muscle, then yes, if in a sufficient dose.
If one were given enough relaxant to stop the ability to breath, I am sure it would be enough to relax the skeletal muscle in the nether regions. :D
