The drugs don't work (as well as they did)

My first post.
I'm 65 yo and my story re ED really starts 10 years back when I started seeing a slightly younger woman I considered very attractive but boy could she drink. Once I put a fake viagra down my throat, it didn't matter how much I had to drink I was assured of a decent erection. Hallelujah! It appeared to be a miracle drug.
Now after too many failures and a lot of expirimentation with variations of sildenafil, fake Cialas and levitra I am concerned about my consumption. Much like other recreational drugs which I have abused in my time I am now thinking the drugs don't work (remember the Verve anyone?) To be more nuanced perhaps the drugs don't work so well.
I have a long distance relationship with a woman I see rarely but for extended periods. My life is stressful and I must admit to masturbating for two hours or more at a stretch perhaps twice or even three times a week. I experiment with many different variations of drugs in order to acheive this recreational activity at my age. When I do see my partner it's difficult to know what combination will work best for the shorter period of actual love making.
Does anybody have a similar experience or advice please.
:?

I recently discovered citrulene (saw it on this forum). For me it magnifies the effects of ed drugs. Two scoops.

Thanks for the tip, I have ordered a small packet of powder. I'll report back.

You're at the age when things start to not work as well. Drugs for me just slowly stopped working no matter how much I took. The next day side effects of migraine or achy shaft led me to the final step.

This will seem like splitting hairs, but it’s a meaningful distinction.

It’s not that the drugs don’t work, it’s that your ED has progressed. It’s gotten worse. In the past the drugs could overcome your ED and you’d be dependably hard.
Now your ED has gotten bad enough that the same drugs working just as hard, can’t overcome the ED dependably.

I’ve had a similar experience. Pills, then different pills, then higher doses, then combinations. Then shots. Then increasing concentration and dose of shots…

The two things that have been the biggest help for me is to use a good quality cockring. Not the compression ring that is used with a VED. Just a good silicone cockring from a good sex shop. It gives a firm, but still comfortable squeeze. This slows the venous leak, making my ED not as bad. So the same drugs have a much better chance of overcoming my ED and having success.
Adding daily cialis to the mix has also been a help. I still take sildinafil if I expect stroking and a blowjob. I take a shot if I expect to fuck.

This combo has given me 100% success for quite a while now.

The best drug would be to stop masturbating

Great tip, I'll check it out.

Oral drugs lose their efficacy over time. When they stop working, change to a different drug (there are 11 different PDE-5 inhibitors).

Cialis stopped working for me a few years ago. Now I take a similar drug called udenafil.

Combination therapy is also a possibility. I combine udenafil + oral phentolamine with excellent results: both drugs work sinergistically.

That guy is 65 yrs old, can still have sex even the pills fail sometimes and masturbates like a teenager. So what is the problem?
