Interpreting doppler results??

Postby secondchance » Fri May 31, 2024 12:28 pm

I had a penile doppler ultrasound 4 years ago. I'm having some doubts about how to interpret these results. Here are my results:
PSV: 20cm/sec
EDV: 1.12cm/sec

I remember being pretty soft during the exam and I understand that my PSV reflects that(<35cm/sec). I also see that my EDV is lower then 5cm/sec meaning I have no venous leak.

The thing is I remember reading that you can't diagnosis venous leak without inducing proper PSV(>35cm/sec). It makes sense because how can you have blood flowing out of your penis if you have no blood in your penis to start with. Obviously there will be no blood coming out if there's no blood in your penis in the first place. Nothing can go out if there's nothing to go out.

Please help me clarify this :?
Thanks!!!!
