My surgeon prescribed 5mg daily while I was waiting for a surgery date. On the second day, my back and upper legs were burning. I notified him and stopped the med, but it took about 3-4 days before it left. Has anyone else experienced this, I since have had the surgery, but he suggested I give it another try down the road. If I do, I’m thinking of starting with 2.5 every other day to see what happens, we’ll see.

I have been taking 5mg daily for about 3 months, started to get some low back pain so cut them out for a week and the pain subsided, so weaning myself back onto it, to see if it happens again.

I have had some back pain before, but can't be certain if it was from that. Recently though I have noticed some tinnitus occurring in my hearing, and I do believe it's either from the genetic Cialis (tadalifil), or Viagra (sildenafil). I have used both in limited quantities, and have even cut the Viagra into 25mg portions. I'm not going to use it for 3 months (seems to be a general relief period of symptoms) and see what happens.

The doctors don't tell you just how many people this affects, shocking I know, but it does seem pretty prevalent.

When I tried tadalifil I had a similar reaction. Lower back, pain, stuffy nose and general malaise which closely resembled flu symptoms EVERY time I tried!
Plus it didn’t do anything for my erectile function at all!
I’m the proud owner of a firm penis thanks to AMS700 installation

At the three week post op my doctor recommended trying the Tadafil again, saying it was good for BPH and may help with blood flow. I told him that I want to get accustomed to the revision and then I’d think about it. I’m not sure I want to chance that type of pain again.

Some guys do get back pains with certain cialis/ tadalafil based pills.hot flushes on face or the odd sore head now and again.for sore head drink loads of water during and after, that should stop the headache.Have you tried taking any other tablets like sildenafils or vardenafils. levitra or the generic name vardenafils are the pills that i never have any side effects with.maybe you should give these a go.

If I were in your position, I'd be cautious about trying the medication again, especially given the unpleasant symptoms you experienced. It’s possible that your body reacted to it in this way, and taking it again might lead to similar issues. If your doctor suggested giving it another try, your idea of starting with a lower dose of 2.5 mg every other day seems reasonable, but I would definitely discuss this plan with your doctor first.

You might also want to explore alternative medications that could have fewer side effects related to your back and legs. For instance, if the medication was prescribed for pain or inflammation, consider discussing other pain relievers or anti-inflammatory drugs with your doctor, such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Sometimes, changing the form of the medication, like using gels or creams instead of pills, can reduce the likelihood of side effects.

Additionally, physical therapy or specific exercises to strengthen your back and legs might help as well. These options are worth discussing with your healthcare provider.

In any case, it's crucial to monitor how you feel and consult your doctor if you experience any new or worsening symptoms.
