A tip for the base

Some guys lose a bit of their erection (some guys more than others) when stopping foreplay
to put on condoms or changing positions (I know, I know, foreplay doesn’t necessarily
need to be interrupted, but it happens anyway); a way round it that I read somewhere,
(can’t remember exactly where) would be for the partner or the guy himself to hold
the base of the penis very tightly (the part nearest to the body) with thumb and index finger
in the manner of a penis/cock ring . That would prevent some of the blood from leaving
and the erection is maintained.
After activity is resumed, pressure can then be relieved at the couple’s discretion.
That pressure can also be applied at anytime during sex.
It worked for me. Please, let me know if it worked for you.
