Regaining natural erection after surgery?

Of course I know what the medical websites say about regaining the ability to have natural erections after nerve sparing surgery, And the percentage of men who do recover their ability to regain natural erections. But no where does it talk about how it happens.

One morning just wake up with a full on boner? Or gradual over time?

I’m going to guess it’s progressive over time. But what signs will there be?

I’m 18 months from surgery and am still not getting any signs that I may be able to get back to having that spontaneous erection I enjoyed before. For anyone that may ask me. Yes, I have followed my penile rehab program to the letter. Sadenifil daily, penis pump on a routine schedule, massage and stimulation, and when I want a hardon I inject Trimix.

My question to you fellas.....if your nerves have been healing after your surgery.....what signs have you noticed that you are regaining your ability to have a natural erection?

Thanks for any and all feedback.

Way back in ancient history, when healthy guys lost their erection due to stress, they would check on nocturnal erections by putting a ring of "old school" postage stamps around their soft cock before bed. (you remember the ones that came in a strip, with perforated hold around the edges?) If the stamps were torn when they woke up, it meant erections at night!. They don't make those anymore BUT a compant called FirmTech just made cockring that "hooks" on around your cock and balls and has a little bluetooth monitor that reads the occurances and length of time of your erections! I just listened to a whole interview with the owner of the company on The Penis Project Podcast.
