Testosterone Cypionate Question

I have a question about this treatment. Is this available in a dose that can be administered at home. I’m 68 and my testosterone level was at 185 when checked last month. I would like to start therapy. Can anyone tell me a little about this before I speak to my Dr about it. Thanks!!

I've been self-injecting that for years. Both my urologist and family doctor prescribe it, and I get it at a compounding pharmacy for $70 a 10ml vial. It lasts over 6 months now that I've cut the dose down to .35ml.

I have been using it for almost 2 years. My primary doctor prescribed it and my insurance covers it. $10 a month.
Problem is some doctors think “ you are in range and don’t need more” and won’t treat it properly.
I found a doctor who specializes in hormones ( family doctor ) and she said my total was still too low and should be at least 700 and we increased it.
I inject once a week with a 25g needle and almost no pain and takes 5 minutes.
Be cautious of clinics who want you to come in weekly and buy from them unless you don’t have health insurance.

3-4 years ago I was going to my urologist’ office every 2 weeks for a shot in the hip. This would be much more convenient. He said we’d discuss options soon. Right now a lot going on Have prostititis and also trying to decide on a BPH trial between iTunes and urolift

I have been on this for 10 years. Tried many injection frequencies and dosages. It changed my life starting at 52. Better cognitive function , energy, sleep and of course sex drive.
I use defy medical out of tampa florida. Purely telemedicine as I live in TX.
Often it causes too much red blood cell production which can thicken your blood. If that happens you can donate at red cross, helps you amd others.

My testostersone level was at 85. My urologist started me on testostersone pellets every 3 months. It is considered a surgical procedure and medicare paid so little my urologist quit doing the procedure. I started out with biweekly home injections and was roller coastering high to low, testostersone levels. I switched to .04 Ml weekly and my testosterone levels were between 700 and 900. My blood thickened(RBC) up an my internal medicine physician reduced my testostersone weekly shot to .03 ml and my testeostersone level flucuates between 385 to 512. I now give blood every 30 days. The Blood Connection pays me $70-75 for the donation.
