Do most of you guys have a good sex drive?

I don’t have any urges. They just vanished. All I have are memories of the way I used to feel, and now I’m stuck in the loop of trying to figure out the cause.

There’s psychological and hormonal, but everyone seems to lump those causes together. But they should have distinguishable differences, right?

I remember having a physical ache down there that increased the longer I abstained. You know like when you have to pee, you can feel the discomfort.

But the sexual feeling was there whether you’re hanging with your buddies or working, and there’s nothing to trigger your dopamine like when you see an attractive person or with your significant other.

You see success stories of TRT or a psych medicine but they just give the vague, “sex drive is high again” but never give detailed symptoms where you could pinpoint details.

Do you get nighttime and morning erections? If you do then your ED is likely Pysch, if not likely physical. That is a starting point.

I used to have them every morning. But when they stopped one day, I noticed I didn’t have any urges either. I already had a suspicion I wouldn’t be able to get it up. Went to the shower and couldn’t get even a little hard.

My T is naturally high, but free T on the low side. So I have to decide if shutting down my natural T is worth the bump in free testosterone (with HCG or exogenous T)

Lack of sex drive has to be rough to handle. Sorry.
My sex drive has always been high, although age and ED made it slow down some. After getting the implant my sex drive came back, I think it was mainly the feeling of having an erection again. Now age is slowing me down again. But just a little!

When I was young, many girls told me I was the horniest bastard they ever met. And this continued right into my 50's, then ED struck, pills worked just OK for many years and at 60 stopped. I was still horny because of TRT but flaccid. My friend and pharmacist told me of injections way back when, no way I was going to stick a needle in my dick, no way. So languished without sex for 7 years. I took a break (not my choice) from TRT during the pandemic, no sex drive and my penis shrunk to an inch in length.

Early this year I started back on TRT and started using PT 141 and Melanotan 2. The old super horny feeling returned and I decided to try Trimix. Withing months my wife and I were making porn star love. My life has returned to me at 67. I use a VED and with frequent use, my resting length is now over 5". Quite the change from a few years ago. My wife says my penis is bigger than in our early marriage. Been married 34 years to a gorgeous English blond.

I am now as horny as when I was young, I fuck my wife once a week (her choice) and am happy as pig in poop.

Don't give up, try TRT. PT-141 and see where that takes you. You may be surprised.

What causes a lot of loss of sex drive is thinking of sex or masturbation as stressful due to impotence.

I just recently had my testosterone levels checked and they were way above average for a man my age...like 880 for the total T. My Doc says any man my age would kill to have your levels...My response was "yea Doc it's a curse"....constantly horny, but limited either by the frequency of Trimix injections I can administer or just the GF not being around. When I first developed ED, my Urologist did a total blood work up and at that time my T levels were high. He stared at the lab results, shook his head and said.."Well I see desire is no problem"...I eat right I mean really right like mostly a whole food plant based diet, don't smoke or drug, and only socially drink alcohol. I work out regularly like 30-45 mins a 5-6 times per week... But to answer the question of the heading of the thread...I have too good of a sex drive...

I wish. I take Lexapro for anxiety and this kills libido for many people.
I am 62yrs old and have ED with several things against me. Diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol (hereditary) and at least three meds that help me but do not help a sex life, Metoprolo, Lexapro and Adderal.
MY testosterone is mid point for my age. I had asked about Clomifine to boost testosterone without shrinking testes. Regular Dr. would not. Urologist acted like she did not even hear me say it.
