Botox for ED ?

I know. Something about it. However; trials in Europe apparently suggest it works to some degree for most men. As I understand it; the trials were not that big. So; it's perhaps too early to say. My concern would be any negative effect on sensory nerves. Does anyone have any input or experience with this.

I had Botox in November. But I'm doing other things (shockwave, Tri-Mix, VED) so it's hard to identify favorable or unfavorable effects of the Botox.

Thanks. Any negative effects ? It was on my to do list today to call an implant surgeons office when I happened on
this Botox approach. So; Botox is a interesting option, but I am wondering about the risk. Also; where did you get
Botox ?

Thanks

My Botox was administered by Dr. Goldstein at San Diego Sexual Medicine. I scheduled it before I made the decision to go with Tri-Mix, and I don't regret it (except for the expense) but I feel like the TriMix overwhelms any other ED treatment so the Botox is moot. I don't see any downside except, again, the expense.

I tried Botox for my ed. I waited several months with no results. Then I decided on an implant. I made an appointment with Dr. Clavell and results were amazing. I waisted time and money on the botox injections.

According what I could tell from the literature, the botox doesn't appear to affect the sensory nerves nor the nerves triggering erections.

I would also be very interested in this. The studies were small and the ones I saw selected for men who had benefit from the treatment (for example, only considering those who came back for repeated treatment). Still, the results for those men seem very impressive.

I tried this before getting the implant. The only effect it had, was that it made my flaccid noticeably bigger, as it relaxes the tissue inside the corpora cavernosa. However, the effect on ED were zero.
