25mg of cialis daily

Does anyone here take 25mg or more of cialis daily?

My urologist told me that people take up to 40mg daily for some conditions and encouraged me to be aggressive: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/a ... 9712017299

I’ve been taking 20-25mg daily which is just enough to have semi-successful intercourse most of the time.

Curious if anyone else is taking daily doses that high?

I just started yesterday to take 5mg / day, to give it a try. Came back to this forum to look for some feedback on what i should expect...

I remember a man in another forum who, on the advice of his urologist, was happily taking 40mg daily. My uro told me 5mg daily was worthless and upped me to 10mg. I can't honestly speak to its effectiveness because I combine it with other modalities that complicate the picture.

Would your dr give you a prescription for the 40 mg pill? It would possibly cheaper per mg because its usage is for pulmonary hypertension, not ED. It's been a long time since i used 5 mg daily for BPH, so I don't remember the cost now. But 8 pills a day wouldn't be cheap.

I think taking 25 mg per day would be wasteful.
Taking 40 mg around 6:00 pm on evenings when there was a high percentage that you were going to have Sex would be much more efficient

I was on 10mg's, and it gives me heart burn from hell. My doctor said, yeah it can do that.

Wow, seems quite high of a dose. Dosen't it cause upset stomach and reflux. Even 5 mg gave me serious burning in the esophogus. As a matter of fact all pde5 caused me heartburn when used regularly or as needed. Contrary to what they say i have had radio therapy as a precancer barrets syndrom and i have no doubts it was caused by pde5 use. When not taking pde5 i have easily controled acid but take a higher dose and without ppi there is no relief and sometimes not even then. I now use ici for my ed treatments and take low dose sidenafil in the afternoon.

i was going to ask if anyone else had that side effect .
me too , and for days , i thought it might be because i had off brand pills from india . they worked good ,but the bad heart burn makes them a no go

Did you build up to 40mg of Cialis, started with 25, then 30, etc, or did you just go for it and take 40 mg one day?

I've been taking 5mg a day for about a year. It's enough to give me about a 60-70 percent erection. Not great for sex. At that dose I only have mild side effects. I get heartburn but only lasts a few minutes if any all. If I up it to 20mg, I get unbearable muscle pain in my thighs that lasts about 3 days. No amount of ibuprofen will help it go away and it keeps me up at night.
