Blocking or flagging specific threads

Postby Kodixx » Wed Sep 10, 2025 2:43 pm

Hello -- I know that specific Users can be blocked using the "Foes" list. Is there a way to flag, or block, specific Threads ? There's been a recent rise in "infomercial" threads, and I'd really like to flag them so I don't click on them -- and then realize "of yeah, this one is crap".

By "infomercial" thread, I mean it feels like waking up in the middle of the night with an infomercial on TV, and multiple people having an orchestrated conversation with each other. Complete with prepared stats, quotes, graphs, and each one complimenting the other on how they're thinking.

If it is truely spam (someone promoting discount drugs and providing a web address for example) click the “!” Button in the top right corner.

If it is just an annoying person with an axe to grind who keep starting thread to hammer on their point, just use the foe button. I don’t know of a way to block individual thread.
