Soft Diffuse Corporal Fibrosis Type

Postby Breakthrough » Sun Jan 04, 2026 3:14 pm

Have there been any cases of fibrosis where the penis becomes soft, squishy and light in mass (floppy), desensitized and lifeless, but doesn’t become hardened with palpable scarring you can feel or see?

Does this presentation match people that got ED from old age?

I had a priapism which caused severe ED but doesn’t show the typical palpable deposits cited in most literature so I’d like to get some anecdotal feedback. I imagine many that received implants here had fibrosis/apoptosis of some kind before doing so. I understand apoptosis occurs after priapism which likely happened to me but I didn’t get immediate hard collagen deposits within the first 11 months since the injury.

I have a negative reaction to pde5 so would prefer not to take them indefinitely but I understand that fibrosis gets worse. I’m trying to gauge the rate at which shrinkage and hardness/woodiness happens over time. Doctors won’t consider me for an implant because I’m in my 30s so my hope is to maintain until other treatments come out that could potentially regress the fibrosis and restore some smooth muscle.
