My story so far
Hi guys. Not sure if I am doing this correctly, but here goes.Age here 74,straight,married to a woman 13 years younger. Also here am disabled, had a traumatic brain injury back in 2012. Spent a month in and out of a coma. Have no memories of that month. Then to a rehab hospital in Boston after I came out of the coma. Spent about 3 months in rehab hospital learning how to walk, how to eat,how to swallow meds and so on. Was a long haul but I was almost fully recovered when I was released. And now about 13 years later I found this board/site. Some where along this 13 year period I kind of checked out of my marriage. Just going along without a care in my life. No sex no thoughts of it. Back in August and again in September my young bride was in and out of the hospital. First for kidney stones and then for sepsis of the blood due to antibiotics she was taking. The second hospital visit was so bad I was not allowed to visit her. My step daughter who works in medical field was allowed to visit, but masked up and in gowns. About early November, I realized I had almost lost the love of my life. I apologized to my wife and told her I was a changed man. More hugs, more kisses, more talking. Will break here. Want to make sure I am doing this correctly.

Re: My story so far
ok the story continues. figured out how to log on from my PC instead of IPAD. much easier on pc,,,so here I have almost fully recovered since falling down the stairs back in 2012. only lasting result is I now walk with a cane and my memory is not so good at times. I keep a daily diary on my IPAD to help me remember. Needless to say I have been slowly crawling out of the hole due to my actions/lack of action. My wife and I are looking for a marriage counselor now. All of this is the result of my apology back in Nov. 2025. Wife also asked Physiatrist doctor to schedule a MRI of my brain due to my sudden change of heart. She is worried I may have some thing medical going on we are not aware of.
I thought I had ED due to lack of erection. Went to urologist to get checked out few weeks ago and nothing really going on yet. We discussed treatment, Pills, injection and IPP. Yesterday on a whim I visited an on line porn site and surprise, surprise an old friend popped up to greet me/ yes I had an erection. Not wanting a good thing to go to waste, I masturbated to an orgasm and ejaculation. First one in over 13 years. felt great! No Viagra pills taken. Wife just came home from physical therapy on her bad shoulder. took a pause on keyboard. So should i report my success to my Urologist? They have this thing called a Patient/Doctor portal. Think I should let them know of my success. A little embarased but think I lost all privacy when I visited the doctor. What do you guys think I should do?
