First I just want to thank all the guys here who have contributed so much to understanding and correcting our common problem. All the discussions, chat room talks , emails, and phone calls have virtually given me a PHD on the topic.
I've made up my mind to explore the implant option and will probably call Dr Eid in New York soon. I live on Long Island and my uro gave me a referral for someone in his network that does the procedure but I think I have to be crazy to choose him over Dr Eid from everything I've read about him.
Anyway can anyone provide me with some idea of how their insurance company paid for the whole procedure ?
I have a good policy from Empire/Blue Cross which covers the procedure but I'm not sure of deductibles, co-pays, or other unpaid fees.
I'll be 65 in ten months and can always defer the procedure until then if it gives me better coverage and less out of pocket expense.
