support groups

Postby Gingertom3 » Thu Nov 11, 2010 2:42 am

This site is a wonderful support group for men suffering through e.d. The advice and suggestions that members give is wonderful. It's great to learn from the experience of others.
Not every man here has had prostate cancer, but I would like to know from those who have had it whether you belong to any prostate cancer support groups.
Here in the UK there are support groups in various localities.Men and women attend - men who have or have had that cancer, and women whose partners or husbands have such problems.
Sadly I can't attend because of driving problems. But I've joined another forum under the auspices of the Prostate Cancer Charity in the UK. This allows me to share my experience and read the personal stories of other men and to give them encouragement.
As survivors we want to help others to survive and enjoy life.

I attended a local Prostate Cancer Support group for one meeting. The problem that I have is there meeting day conflicts with another obligation. I also am a member on Healingwell.com the prostate cancer section. A great group of guys there. Lots of info and support. These two sites go hand in hand with each other.
