Avodart and ED

At my last appointment my urologist asked if I wanted a prescription for Avodart. I said no because my BPH doesn't bother me too much in general. However, I started thinking about it because there certainly are times when I feel that urgent or frequent need to urinate, and that's a problem when I'm taking a lengthy car trip.
Some of the side effects of it, according to what I've read, are ED, decrease in libido, and "abnormal ejaculation", whatever that means. That's all I need!
Are any of you guys taking Avodart for BPH, and if so what's been your experience with it?
