Cialis side effects . . .

I've had acid reflux problems for years, but generally keep it well under control without meds except for the occasional antacid tab.

I've been taking 5mg. of Cialis daily for 9 months now, and have noticed in the past 2-3 months that my acid reflux has gotten much worse. It is a known side-effect of Cialis, which I recently discovered. I am going to stop taking Cialis for a couple of weeks and see what happens with the acid problem.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any idea how long it will take for the drug to get out of my system?

I take 20 mg of generic Cialis daily which is probably 70% as pure as the real Cialis and I have not noticed any significant increase in acid reflex, Though I have noticed occasional incidents.

Cialis always give me bad indigestion. It is only reason that I do not like the drug. Other than my body building up intolerance to the drug and anorgasmia when I take a big dose of Cialis, the drug is wonderful.

For me the indigestion goes away by the third day I am not on the drug.

Thanks for the info, guys.

@ dt: I should have mentioned that I am actually taking tadalafil, the generic version from Northwest Pharmacy in Canada.

When I was experimenting with Cialis and Viagra I too got some indigestion.

My solution was to chew them up in my mouth with a mouthful of water and let the ingredients absorb thru the mucus membrane and tongue for as many minutes as I wished to do it -- then swallow it down.

That worked pretty well.

And if you are about to complain about the awful taste, well ... Are We Not Men? If you cut me do I not BLEED?

Well, you get the idea. Not so bad taste anyways ..

Also I am not sure if it accelerates the speed of activation that way or not, since none of the pills ever worked for me, But I would try them every so often to see if nerves mighta regenned. Nope!

The Cialis has a Half life of about 17,5 hours. If a long-action drug as Cialis is having adverse effects you should go with Sildenafil or Vardenafil that have shorter action.
