drink and drugs

I've been taking daily cialis for a while, and it works very well. In fact, it works so well that whereas it used to take up to half an hour to reach a climax, I have to be careful now not to finish too quickly. But last week I forgot the instructions on the packet and had a little too much to drink. I wondered why I was extremely dizzy the following day and the next.
Someone told me that I shouldn't drink and dive! (lol)
Has anyonoe else had that experience after taking viagra or levitra?

I've been known to have a couple of drinks while on Viagra and have had no issues (unless of course I've had too much to drink - but that has nothing to do with Viagra). However, I do use Cialis as well and even without drinking alcohol, Cialis makes me light-headed at times.

I have been on Cialis for 3+ years interspersed with some Levitra. But not the Cialis daily version. I have not had an the issue you describe. I do, at times, drink in moderation (MY definition) scotch or wine and have not experienced the side-effect you experienced. On occasion I have had the stuffy nose stuff.

Would suggest if it happens again or you are not comfortable with what you experienced talk with the doc as see what doc says. Since the half life of Cialis is longer- maybe that would be a factor. There may also been some type of interaction with Cialis and an other med and the alcohol.

Trust you're doing well with everything else.

Regards,

Dick

Alcohol and Cialis can lower your blood pressure and this may explain the dizziness.

Yes don't forget all the Big 3 can be used as Blood Pressure medications as well (that was their original use -- and
even now they can be prescibed as such ).

Not very effective BP meds of course ... but they sure have some great side effects for men!

Levitra works for me at 10 mG good now. It's better in the morning or on an empty stomach. I find it doesn't seem as good at nite after dinner and a couple glasses wine. Hate the stuffy nose still, but seems to be getting better.
