Venous Leak / Surgery

The more I read on here about symptoms that people have with Venous Leak - unable to get 'penetration erection', soft glans even with strong erect shaft, losing it after 30 mins, and losing it faster in horizontal position, all this even with strong strength injections, I am beginning to wonder if that is my problem.
I never had problems before my Prostate Surgery.
So my question is whether the surgery can cause Venous Leak?

I'm quite sure that that is a separate thing from having an RP. I was as functional as any youngster right up until June 4, 2012 when they took my prostate out.

According to my uro there are two nerve bundles, one running down each side of the prostate that control erections. With the robot they can generally avoid damaging them too much, although there is always SOME damage. Most healing will be done in a couple of years.

That's for the lucky guys. The tumor in my prostate was close to one of the nerve bundles so they removed the tissue in that area, which contains that nerve bundle -- always erring to the side of caution. I guess it's better to live without erections than it is to die a lingering death from recurring prostate cancer.
