Crazy Erections

I use Edex 10 Mcg that gives a firm erection 20 min after I inject but about 15/20 min into intercourse my erection goes to 50/60%. I stop 10/15 min and I can get a 100% erection again.this cycle goes on multiple times.this kinda kills the mood for my wife. Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you correct it ?

Have you tried a larger dose - most men require more than 10 mcg. I understand that the average dose in a large clinical trial was 21.7 MCG. Increasing by small increments would be worth trying. Alternatively, try using a ring. Rather than the sex shop type, try using an O ring (cheaply available in different sizes) slide it onto the base of the penis before injecting and this should maintain your erection.

Thanks for the info. I will try increasing dose and if that don't work I will try ring.I was on Tri-Mix and Uro put me on Edex because of 4-5 hour erections. I only used 4 units and erection was good just lasted to long and Edex last 1.5/2 hours but erections keep going up and down! Thanks again for feed back.

I understand your frustration. My first experience with Trimix in the doctors office in 2008 was so so, but when I was walking to the car on the parking lot after that long visit, I got hard. Since then I found laying down or sitting makes it go away, standing up plumps things back up. bigger doses, last I used was 1 cc, do not change things nor make it harder. Ever since the prostatectomy, when I poop it tries to grow. go figure. A doctor told me that no 2 men have the same veins and arteries feeding the cavernosa and after surgery what is left is in bruised, twisted, disconnected total disarray.. Some people will have 1 big one, some will have multiple routes of blood flow. Maybe a smaller dose of trimix is all you needed.

This is so strange you have the same problems as when you poop you get a mini erection. I also had PC and was removed in 2011 as for Tri-Mix after 2 trip to emergency for 6 hour erections auto thought I should go to Edex because you rarely have this problem. PC changes your whole live over night. Sometimes I wonder if I would be better off to just give up and go for a implant ? Thanks for your feed back.

I've had the same issue with 20 mcg of Edex, although I've been partly chalking it up to my injection technique. (I've only been using the stuff less than a month). However, it seems that even when I inject well my erection doesn't last very long. I can get pretty hard initially, but when I try and penetrate it softens up to the point where penetration is difficult or impossible. I haven't yet decided whether to ask my urologist for a prescription for trimix.

I've tried electo shock with tens, pumps, levitra, viagra, cialis, trimix, combos of the pills and shots, increased shots over a years time from .20 cc to 1 cc. I wish I would have had an implant the same day as the prostatectomy. For 3 years I wish I had never had the prostatectomy. The doctors saying give it time is bullshit. I have had the opportunity to visit many people who had a prostatectomy AFTER it was done. I know NO-ONE who recovered from it. If doctors told you the truth about how things will be, nobody would have one. Even the people who had seeds implanted were impotent within 3 years. Doing my best to get an implant late this year. Tried for 2 year before and could not get it done. Shots, pills, pumps are like putting duct tape over a rusted fender in my opinion. It does not fix the problem. Only masks it poorly. dealt with this since 1997 and if an implant does not fix it, then it cannot be fixed. So far everyone I know with an implant is happy it works.d

Cwatt1: If you get TriMix I would use caution it is much stronger than Edex. Trust me 4/6 hours erections are no fun.

Alibaba: I like you have tried it all,pills don't work,Tri-Mix 4/6 hour erections,Edex gives firm erections that come and go.I use pump for exercise not for sex. Like your Uro mine told me to give it time and that was 4+ years ago.You said you tried 2 years ago to get implant what happened that you did not get it

Sugarcane: Thanks for the warning. I would of course start with a very small dose of trimix and titrate upward as necessary under the guidance of my urologist. He in fact suggested trimix if I am not satisfied with Edex, which has been inconsistent at best so far.
