blood pressure meds

Postby 6gun 44 mag » Sun Jun 21, 2015 8:31 am

Anyone here ever been on blood pressure meds for a long time?, then developed ED after a long time of using those has passed?, then quit taking the drugs to find regular hard-ons returning? I've taken pills 35 years, what toll has that taken on erections? I wonder.

I've taken BP med and statins for 30 years and ED for 15 years. Maybe it's all related, but life is good.

I am on 2 different blood pressure pills, but my ED is related to diabetes, according to the doctor. Been on the bp pills for about 10 years now. Been taking trimix with excellent results for a year.

I was taking metoprolol for my heart, but I've been told that it is also prescribed to patients with blood pressure issues. And yes, the doctors all said that it could contribute to ED. When they told me that, I stopped taking all meds for a period of 4 months just to see how they affected my erection quality....nothing; no difference at all. I told this to my doctors and they were clueless with any other posibility. I saw a Urologist, told him my story and he said it's obvious that I have venous leak. I asked for a doppler test to confirm, but he said the V.A doesn't do that test but it's fairly obvious that I have V. L.
