Is it Worth It?

Hi Guys,
I'm going to go ahead and ask one of those extremely controversial and difficult questions that I know that only I can ultimately answer for myself:
I'm currently single with ED. From what I've read, my condition sounds a lot like "venous leak" as it is very difficult to get and maintain 100% erections for me.
Anyhow, as a single, 31 year old man with ED, with the current treatment options available, I'm wondering if I should even be considering marriage as a possible future option anymore? (As a Christian, I can't really go for test runs with a possible bride to be. It would be a leap of faith for both of us.)
Obviously I would tell a potential wife about the issue and what I plan to do to treat it prior to marriage, but with the current treatment options, is it a good idea?
I know there is no way any of you can definitively answer that for me given all of the variables involved, but I'd like to hear your thoughts anyway.
The main reason that I even have any hope of having a wife and kids anymore is because of the possibility of a penile implant, but at my age (31), I wonder how long one would last?
Thanks for your thoughts,
Cal

Hi,
Implants last from 10 up to 25 years. If the device fails due to wear and tear they can put a new one in. Go with a high volume surgeon.
You don't want to live the rest of your life with ED. Is it worth it?

I admire that you are doing the research by reading, BUT, BUT, BUT, the ONLY advice I would give you at this time is that you have GOT to go see a Urologist who specializes in male sexual health!!!! NO amount of reading can substitute for working with an expert. You may in fact have VL, but a Urologist can test for that rather than relying on reading.
Again, good on you for doing some research but go see a specialist, you owe it to yourself!!!
Wish you the best of luck and don't give up hope, there ARE options!

Hi Froggy, Have thought of using a ring to help hold the blood in, its a way you could try, if you have a look at a post on here, cheap home-made cock rings, if you google this your get there far quicker its just another way of getting a good erection, just these simple things do work, and carry on working, the idea behind this is it goes over the valve that's giving you your leak, it then traps the blood in, giving you a good erection, I do use a cock ring for better erections and they do work, some others on here do as well.
Just for now far better than a big op, that could go wrong.
Things to think about.

An urologist can perform test to confirm a venous leak. He can also prescribe Viagra, etc and injections which in many cases can overcome a venous leak.
I started on Viagra but moved on to injections when Viagra cold no longer do the trick. I am currently alternating between Trimix injections and a VED using an Osbon tension band to maintain the erection. I normally have penetrtive sex five or six days a week.
My wife is fully aware an supportive of what I need to do.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and encouragement, guys.
Just a question I thought I'd throw out there. I guess I just wanted to test the water a bit.

I'm in the same boat (though not religious anymore). Single 30 with severe ED. Been single for most of my life, very limited sexual experience (and that was underwhelming because of my ED). Had kind of moved away from the idea of finding a soulmate before all this, for me it pretty much seals the deal.
I had two doppler ultrasounds with an injection and failed to maintain an erection for both, so the doctors could not confirm or dismiss venous leak. I even saw a urologist that preforms penile implants, and he said he wouldn't do one in someone my age anyways. I really don't want to go with that option right now.

So you want to wait till you are 95 years old?
It is bullshit not doing an implant because you are too young. They implant many young people. I would take a second opinion,
Here DR, Kramaer doing an implant on a young guy, look!

Go for it
I started going limp when I was in my late 20's
I am catholic also. Neighbors and family used to wonder why I had no kids or wife.
I am Hispanic so it makes it harder.
I meet a woman roughly 20 years ago
She was married and I sat on my butt and did nothing about it.
During the last 20 years I have seen more Urologist than I can remember
I just found out she is divorced now and as a few years ago she wanted sex.
Her ex she used to make fun of him to me that he was in and out quicker than light and he was hung like a goldfish.
If I find her I would go bionic. I date from time to time. I have walked away from staying overnight a few times.
Only 1 has always I regretted.
She never knew what I was going thru.
All urologist claim they know everything. Was going to urologist more than 10 years before I heard about the injections.
Injections did not work to good. Now I was told to play with dosages. Maybe I try a vacume pump.
What works for one might not work for the other guy.
No one told me about going bionic. I got the name of good urologist and hopefully I will at least get enough of my manhood to play..
Don't make the same mistake I did
I am now looking at 50 and no kids. Odds are to never will have. Thinking of looking up woman from my past.
Tired of sleeping alone. Tired of eating alone. Time does not heal all wounds some just remain the same but the emotional price goes up.
Go for it dude.
