My "unit" is really sore right now... Although it's completely flaccid. As a matter of fact, the injection didn't even give me a boner. The Doc tried to downplay it by saying that it only works in half of his patients, but I can smell the BS. Anyways I'll know the results in the upcoming weeks.


Mind you, I can usually get boners pretty easily when lying down, without any viagra or injection... So I was kind of surprised myself that I didn't get a boner after the injection... I was really stressed so I guess that was the problem? I don't know...


Anyways my "unit" still hurts right now but it's flaccid, doc told me to put some ice on it or take some tylenol to help... But I forgot to ask him how long will the pain last. Can you guys help?

Update: It doesn't hurt anymore but my erections are weaker... what the heck? Is this normal?? Can someone give me some insight?

Who injected--you or urologist? Did he hit a vein? Wrong place? Was it on side of penis, towards the base? Was there any blood when he injected? What was injected? Some meds do hurt for awhile. Should not be on top or bottom, not near glans...does your uro have experience with ED? Not all uros do.

Depending on the ingredient in the injection, some of the injections do cause pain. go to the injection forum and read. You will find threads on different mixes that have differing levels of pain. I've had trimix that made it hurt a deep hurt for 3 days before. d

The doc injected it. He said he's been doing this for years. He injected in the back of the shaft. He injected "Aprostadil".

It doesn't hurt anymore but I can barely GET A BONER. I could usually get hard when lying down but not anymore. What the heck is going on???

He told me to go to the ER if the erection lasted 2 hours+, but since I didn't even get an erection I didn't go. It was only hurting and he said that's normal.

I'm freaking out... please someone help! ??!

I was on tri-mix injections for a while but stopped them because of the pain for hours afterwards. For some of us the pain is a normal consequence
