Will this go away on its own? I had a pretty bent pecker and now all I feel is a restricting band about half way down? One urologist told me he wouldn't prescribe anything for 18 months does that sound right to any of you?

David

Peyronies will not go away on its own. Using VED therapy may slow down the progression of the disease. Seek another Urologist for a second opinion asap.

After trying different type of therapies possible (herbs, acupuncture, VED, Vit E ) to no avail, I ended up with an implant.

Hi David if your pyronies get any worst, go for the operation to get it straightened, I was last night looking for a vid for it but cant find the one that's really good to see done, if you google pyronies embarrassing body's there's a few thing you can read, did see it done by a women surgeon many years ago, funny it may sound but was very good to watch, but later you can see it worked.
These program gives us an insight to the problems us guys can get, we know what to look for then.

Good Luck

http://www.peyroniesforum.net/ is your best bet for info.

You don't want to be thinking of an operation straight away.
If its still in an active stage the bend will probably come back.

As it takes up to a year/longer to stabilize

Also there' loss of size and risk's of ED issues as well with an operation. (last resort)

You need to speak to a specialist in peyronies, change your doctor.

Treatments are taking Pentox and doing Xiaflex injections to break up the plaque.

Traction and VED are also worth trying.

Remember there's no quick fix, take your time and hopefully your get back to a useable penis.

Listen to redbullmaster.....I had an encounter with scar tissue after using injections for a couple of years. I went to a peyronnes specialist who prescribed Pentox ( Trental 400mgs BID) along with daily VED therapy....I was starting to get what they call an hour glass effect on my penis..Anyway, it took an entire year of taking the meds, VED therapy daily for 15min and refraining from injecting..I am now back to injecting sporadically with no problems. I do continue to do the VED therapy to help prevent any future scar tissue. Get to the peyronnes forum right away and get to a doctor who knows about the disease. A regular URO won't believe me..Good luck

Hi David When you have some spare time google this Pyronies disease and cayenne pepper, you mat find some interest for you. its ok you don't have to rub it on your penis, och now that would smart.
Its something I take daily to keep ED at bay, but when you really get into this spice your see just what it can do for us, just add in equal turmeric and garlic it becomes a magic mix, as they are all very good for us.

Good Luck

BY the way the operation I watched being done for pyronies no way did it shorten a penis.

What I have now looks like a band about three quarters of the way down. The bend is gon and I can have sex with no problem. It's been about 2 years so should I still go for the treatment?
Thanks in advance for all the replies
