Diagnosed with venous leak. Doctor suggested penile embolization.

Hi All,
After five years of severe erectile dysfunction, I finally found a doctor who was willing to do more than just write me a script for Viagra and send me on my way. After listening to my symptoms he suggested that I undergo a dopplar ultrasound to test whether my blood flow was consistent with a venous leak. So I got the test, and sure enough, I got a call from the doctor earlier this week letting me know that I was indeed suffering from a venous leak. I've been suspecting this for a long time, so I wasn't exactly surprised, however, when he suggested I treat it by undergoing a penile embolization, I was a little dumbfounded. As he explained it, the procedure works by identifying any leaky veins using an ultrasound, and then injecting some sort of clogging agent into said veins to stop the leak. He said that as long as the people performing the procedure find the leak, that there was a very good chance of stopping it. He also said the procedure is quite safe and minimally invasive. Now, I've done my fair share of homework regarding treatments for erectile dysfunction, but I can find next to nothing on this. I was wondering if any franktalkers have heard of or undergone this procedure? Any input would be very appreciated!
