My Update & an invitation to share your experiences

Hi guys!
This may be long so do try to stick with it!
I always try to give a backstory so newcomers can have the full picture.
I'm 32 now and had a bad experience with a girl when I was 21 - after a night of drinking I lost it and she was less than cool about it. Since then I've always focused on my own performance instead of letting go and enjoying like most men do.
Since then my EQ (erection quality) gradually declined.
This led to having the pipes checked (after an intense battle with lymphoma at 26 which is important to note) - Uros diagnosed me with a mild venous leak.
A few years later I had another ultrasound with a specialist - good results, no venous leak.
Just this year - third opinion sought, saw another specialist, another ultrasound, good result - no venous leak.
All bloods normal range. So I've been told this is all in my head and yes, I do have super deep seated anxiety over the issue of my penis and its performance. I've been hooked on Cialis now for 5 years or so. But can still produce a natural erection. It will just fade quickly.
In an effort to eliminate every possible cause I saw a specialist pelvic floor physio. She did her own ultrasound of the pelvic floor (NOT a Doppler) and a digital anal exam. Lo and behold, I have a very weak floor.
This seemed to fit as I dribble urine after peeing a lot and sometimes after doing a no.2, sometimes I would find later that more excrement has seeped it's way out. Disgusting I know! Sorry.
So I've been set a plan: KEGELS!
The routine:
10 second holds x 10 repetitions
Then...
10 1-second pulses
This will activate both the slow and fast twice fibres.
Morning 9AM / Mid-day 3pm / Night 9pm - to remind me, I have a specialised app developed by NHS physios. It's called 'Squeezy Men'. It's superb.
Results:
In just 3 days I was waking with hard ons the likes of which I forgot existed in the morning. My sleep was littered with nocturnal activity as well.
Sex with my gf: though I still use cialis - erections are harder than when I was a teenager. Plus a dose of Cialis will pack more punch 2 days down the line.
I have been doing the kegels now for a little over 2 weeks - last night I don't recall having any erections though depending on my level of sleep I may not have noticed and I didn't wake with any either.
I am also shaking a little sometimes during the contractions.
It is said that when engaging with kegels, you will likely experience great results early on but then you may experience a dip. This is natural. You just have to keep on going with the exercises and they say it usually takes around 3-6 months to see definitive progress.
I have noted that my no.2s are generally more complete and I dribble less post urination.
So this was very revealing!
This coupled with my mindset was dragging me down. I can see a time in the future where I'm gradually freeing myself of Cialis dependency. But I must attack my anxiety head on. So I am seeing a psychosexual counsellor and engaging with relaxation strategies and meditation.
The fight ahead is long. But it's one I must take on.
So ----------
For men with no discernible or medically detectable conditions causing ED, please visit a specialist pelvic floor physio. It will assist you in getting to the root cause of your problem.
To those who do Kegels. I invite you to tell us all how they have impacted your sexual and overall health.
Thanks everyone,
Defiant
